Sara Mass

Design Director — NJ Studio

Sara brings over 20 years of design experience to Nicole Bailey Designs. Her award-winning work has been featured in magazines and on house tours. She is thrilled to lead a dream team of design build professionals at the Jersey Shore, who bring a wide array of diverse talents.

After spending her early career in real estate and finance, in Boston and New York City, she made a decision to move out of the city and pursue her lifelong passion for interior design. While attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, she began a position at a prestigious Cape May County design firm, where she was mentored by the best in the business.  In the ensuing years, Sara has developed a strong construction knowledge base and deeply rooted connections in the custom home building industry.

As Design Director for Nicole Bailey Designs, she is happy to be a part of a studio that aligns with her design philosophy, a client's home should reflect their personal lifestyle and taste.  Good design is unique and custom to each home.  Balancing her right and left brain, Sara feels strongly that homes should be aesthetically beautiful but also practical, particularly a beach home, where no one wants to be stressed by a high-maintenance interior.

Sara is a founding board member of Partners in Design & Construction, a South Jersey-based professional organization that builds community amongst designers, contractors, architects, showroom representatives and realtors.

When not sorting through textiles or dreaming up bunk bed designs, she is spending time with her husband, AJ, probably competing in some sort of trivia competition or volunteering to support the arts in school. Her true pride and joy is her son, Xander, who attends Syracuse University.

  • Jennifer Mount

    Procurement Manager — NJ Studio

Jennifer took a unique path to Procurement Manager.  She started her career in Nuclear Medicine as a Technologist after receiving her BS in Nuclear Medicine Technology at the University of Vermont. Upon moving to South Jersey in 2010, she started her second career in banking, learning more customer service and leadership skills.  Sara and Jennifer met at a school function and Sara immediately knew she needed Jennifer on her team. If she could handle that chaos, she would quickly understand how well suited she was for a third career running the daily operations of a design studio.

On a daily basis, Jennifer is the heartbeat of the Jersey Shore studio.  She handles vendor relations, oversees client billing and payments, orders all of the product, tracks each and every purchase, as well as any customer service issues that may arise.  Every client gets the benefit of knowing her as she is deeply involved in making sure each project gets from inside your designer's head and into your home. Jennifer is what makes the studio a well oiled machine.

When she’s not tracking your orders, she's spending time with her husband Cameron and daughters Genevieve and Adrianna.
