Nicole Bailey
Founder & Creative Director
Nicole Bailey is the founder and creative director of Nicole Bailey Designs, where she leads the vision and direction of the firm across projects in Pennsylvania and the Jersey Shore.
Nicole is known for guiding projects at a high level, shaping the overall vision, pressure testing decisions, and ensuring each home reflects the people living in it, not a trend or expectation.
Her approach is grounded in both experience and real life. As a mother and designer, she evaluates every material and finish through a practical lens (no white sofas!), considering how it will live, wear, and function over time, not just how it looks on install day.
That perspective is continually shaped by her time abroad. For years, Nicole has spent weeks each summer traveling through Europe with her family, studying the kind of timeless beauty that comes from homes that are lived in, layered over time, and built to last, an influence that informs her focus on restraint, livability, and longevity.
She is deeply involved at key moments, guiding major decisions, maintaining relationships with clients, trusted builders and vendors, and ensuring each project is executed to the firm’s standards.
Nicole leads two teams across two locations and remains closely involved in shaping both the client experience and the long-term vision of the firm.
On a personal note, Nicole grew up spending summers at the Jersey Shore with her extended family, a tradition that shaped so much of what home means to her. This year, she made that dream her own with the purchase of her beach home, now the Shoreline Show House, and her three teenagers and husband could not be more excited for their first full summer there! When she is not on site visits or meeting with clients, you will likely find her playing tennis, pickleball, or ping pong, anything with a paddle, or out walking her labradoodle, Dunkin.

Detail-driven and solutions-oriented, she creates spaces that are intentional, refined, and enduring.
JENNIFER MOUNT
-
Jennifer took a unique path to Procurement Manager. She started her career in Nuclear Medicine as a Technologist after receiving her BS in Nuclear Medicine Technology at the University of Vermont. Upon moving to South Jersey in 2010, she started her second career in banking, learning more customer service and leadership skills. Sara and Jennifer met at a school function and Sara immediately knew she needed Jennifer on her team. If she could handle that chaos, she would quickly understand how well suited she was for a third career running the daily operations of a design studio.
On a daily basis, Jennifer is the heartbeat of the Jersey Shore studio. She handles vendor relations, oversees client billing and payments, orders all of the product, tracks each and every purchase, as well as any customer service issues that may arise. Every client gets the benefit of knowing her as she is deeply involved in making sure each project gets from inside your designer's head and into your home. Jennifer is what makes the studio a well oiled machine.
When she’s not tracking your orders, she's spending time with her husband Cameron and daughters Genevieve and Adrianna.

Sara Mass
Design Director — NJ Studio
Sara brings over 20 years of design experience to Nicole Bailey Designs. Her award-winning work has been featured in magazines and on house tours. She is thrilled to lead a dream team of design build professionals at the Jersey Shore, who bring a wide array of diverse talents.
After spending her early career in real estate and finance, in Boston and New York City, she made a decision to move out of the city and pursue her lifelong passion for interior design. While attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, she began a position at a prestigious Cape May County design firm, where she was mentored by the best in the business. In the ensuing years, Sara has developed a strong construction knowledge base and deeply rooted connections in the custom home building industry.
As Design Director for Nicole Bailey Designs, she is happy to be a part of a studio that aligns with her design philosophy, a client's home should reflect their personal lifestyle and taste. Good design is unique and custom to each home. Balancing her right and left brain, Sara feels strongly that homes should be aesthetically beautiful but also practical, particularly a beach home, where no one wants to be stressed by a high-maintenance interior.
Sara is a founding board member of Partners in Design & Construction, a South Jersey-based professional organization that builds community amongst designers, contractors, architects, showroom representatives and realtors.
When not sorting through textiles or dreaming up bunk bed designs, she is spending time with her husband, AJ, probably competing in some sort of trivia competition or volunteering to support the arts in school. Her true pride and joy is her son, Xander, who attends Syracuse University.
