Design Handled From Start To Finish

We work with busy homeowners who want a beautiful, highly functional home, without taking on a second full-time job. Our role is to simplify the process, protect your investment, and bring your home together in a way that feels effortless on your end.

  • We take it off your plate
We manage the details, the decisions, and the day to day coordination so you don’t have to.

  • A fully guided process from start to finish
From initial concept through final installation, every phase is handled with structure, clarity, and intention.

  • Two studios. One seamless experience
With locations in Pennsylvania and the New Jersey Shore, we meet you where it’s most convenient and bring the design process directly to you.

  • A trusted team behind every project
Our designers, project managers, and long standing trade partners work together to ensure your home is executed properly, not just designed well.

  • Access you won’t find on your own
We source directly from manufacturers and vetted vendors, many of which we’ve tested in person in our studios.

  • Designed for real life, not just photos
Every decision is made with livability, durability, and longevity in mind, so your home not only looks beautiful, but works for how you actually live.

Nicole Bailey

Founder & Creative Director

Nicole Bailey is the founder and creative director of Nicole Bailey Designs, where she leads the vision and direction of the firm. Nicole is known for guiding projects at a high level, shaping the overall vision, pressure testing decisions, and ensuring each home reflects the people living in it, not a trend or expectation.

Her approach is grounded in both experience and real life. As a mother and designer, she evaluates every material and finish through a practical lens, considering how it will live, wear, and function over time, not just how it looks on install day.

That perspective is continually shaped by her time abroad. For years, Nicole has spent weeks each summer traveling through Europe with her family, studying the kind of timeless beauty that comes from homes that are lived in, layered over time, and built to last, an influence that informs her focus on restraint, livability, and longevity.

She is deeply involved at key moments, guiding major decisions, maintaining relationships with clients, trusted builders and vendors, and ensuring each project is executed to the firm’s standards.

Nicole leads two teams across two locations and remains closely involved in shaping both the client experience and the long-term vision of the firm.

On a personal note, Nicole grew up spending summers at the Jersey Shore with her extended family, a tradition that shaped so much of what home means to her. This year, she made that dream her own with the purchase of her beach home in Sea Isle City, NJ. Nicole also has a longstanding connection to Florida’s Treasure Coast. She was married on Hutchinson Island and has spent time in the area for more than 25 years. When she is not on site visits or meeting with clients, you will likely find her playing tennis, pickleball, or ping pong, anything with a paddle, or out walking her labradoodle, Dunkin.

Sara Mass

Design Director — NJ Studio

Sara brings over 20 years of design experience to Nicole Bailey Designs. Her award-winning work has been featured in magazines and on house tours. She is thrilled to lead a dream team of design build professionals at the Jersey Shore, who bring a wide array of diverse talents.

After spending her early career in real estate and finance, in Boston and New York City, she made a decision to move out of the city and pursue her lifelong passion for interior design. While attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, she began a position at a prestigious Cape May County design firm, where she was mentored by the best in the business.  In the ensuing years, Sara has developed a strong construction knowledge base and deeply rooted connections in the custom home building industry.

As Design Director for Nicole Bailey Designs, she is happy to be a part of a studio that aligns with her design philosophy, a client's home should reflect their personal lifestyle and taste.  Good design is unique and custom to each home.  Balancing her right and left brain, Sara feels strongly that homes should be aesthetically beautiful but also practical, particularly a beach home, where no one wants to be stressed by a high-maintenance interior.

Sara is a founding board member of Partners in Design & Construction, a South Jersey-based professional organization that builds community amongst designers, contractors, architects, showroom representatives and realtors.

When not sorting through textiles or dreaming up bunk bed designs, she is spending time with her husband, AJ, probably competing in some sort of trivia competition or volunteering to support the arts in school. Her true pride and joy is her son, Xander, who attends Syracuse University.
