Steve began his career as a trained electrician before launching a successful retail business, Steve’s Sewing and Vacuum, which he owned and operated for more than 40 years. Once the store was running smoothly on its own, he returned to his first passion: renovating homes. With a deep well of technical knowledge and a love for precision and problem-solving, Steve found his true calling in the world of construction and design.

Today, Steve serves as the lead general contractor for Nicole Bailey Designs. He oversees large-scale renovations, from full kitchen and bathroom remodels to basement finishes and structural transformations. Whether it’s knocking down walls, building a dream kitchen, or managing the unexpected, Steve handles it all with calm confidence and an unwavering commitment to quality.

What makes Steve’s story even more special is his connection to Nicole. The two met just six years ago, and in that short time, they’ve built not only a strong personal bond but also a thriving design business. As father and daughter, their relationship is at the heart of the company, and Steve is often described as the soul of the team.
